With his/her signature the participant confirms that he/she meets the requirements that enable him/her for the execution of the event "House Running" – roping at a house facade - and that he/she as person has no estoppels that could stand contrary to the participation. Precondition is a good physical and intellectual constitution as the execution of this event can entail a considerable physical and mental exposure.
The participation is excluded particularly for persons with following health impairments: High blood pressure, heart-troubles, epilepsy, ophthalmic operations, increased risk concerning the circulation system, damages in the musculoskeletal system, neurological disorders, chronic indispositions of the ear combined with disturbances of equilibrium. Persons who are on drugs or who drank alcohol and pregnant women are also excluded from participation.
The participation implies a minimum age of 18 years. Participants of 16 and 17 years can only attend with signature of a present legal guardian. The legal guardian signs this agreement of participation.
The participant also confirms with his/her signature to absolutely obey the instructions of the organizer – especially concerning organisation and security. At contravention against instructions the organizer is authorized to interdict the participation.
The organizer acts as liable partner for the flow of the performance (from take over of the person on the roof till landing on the base). Liability claims are excluded as far as the damage is not based upon intent or coarse carelessness of the organizer. This indemnity counts also for the benefit of employees of the organizer and their assistants. The event is carried out exclusively at the participant’s own risk.
House Running is an outdoor sport: The organizer assumes no liability for soiling or damaging clothing worn during the event. This applies also for deposited articles.
In the extremely unlikely event of a disturbance during the roping please act composed and patient – you are at any time belayed. In this case a second person is roped slowly down to you, he/she will take care of you and you both together are roped down to the base.
Photo and video material: With this signature the participant agrees that the recorded photo and film material can be used by the VSE and/or its partner companies (e.g. distribution partner, representative of the press) irrevocable for PR, advertising, sales and marketing purposes. He/she confirms that no personal rights are injured through his/her occurrence in the recorded photo and film material. The participant agrees particularly that this material may be used free of charge, worldwide and in perpetuity, for all known usages (e.g. www – homepage, social media, media cooperations, PR – newspaper article, as well as further publications of any type). The participant affirms that all rights regarding to production, distribution and publication of the material mentioned above are exclusively owned by the VSE. And with the above mentioned grant of rights or the intended use, no third party rights will be violated (e.g. further photographers, picture agencies).
