  • If you are unable to provide evidence for your late arrival at this moment of time, you must submit the relevant documentation to AEC via email within 24 hours of the exam. Please be advised that a £45.00 administrative fee applies to all late arrivals.

  • Examples of evidence you can provide for being late for the exam

    2. Transportation Issues: Receipts, tickets, or confirmation of delays or disruptions from public transportation services or airlines can demonstrate transportation-related issues.

    3. Car Troubles: If the candidate was driving to the exam and experienced car trouble, evidence such as a tow truck receipt, repair invoice, or statement from a mechanic can support this.

    4.Family Emergency: Documentation of a family emergency, such as a hospital admission or a death certificate, can serve as evidence.

    5. Official Communication: Any official communication from authorities or institutions (e.g., police reports, letters from employers) confirming the reason for the delay can be submitted.

    6. Witness Statements: Statements from witnesses who can corroborate the circumstances surrounding the candidate's lateness can provide additional evidence.

    7. Personal Statement: A written explanation from the candidate detailing the circumstances that led to their lateness can supplement other evidence.

    8.Traffic Reports: Reports from traffic authorities or news sources documenting traffic congestion or accidents on the candidate's route can support claims of being delayed due to traffic.
