    A guarantor should be a UK property owner, or able to prove the funds for the rental payment; and has a UK bank account. A guarantor is required by each person who signs the Tenancy Agreement. This is a condition of tenancy. As each tenant has a guarantor, you will be guaranteeing payment of rent and the condition of the property for the person/prospective tenant named on this form.

  • In consideration of you agreeing to grant a tenancy for the property know as , in respect of * for the tenancy commencing on   Pick a Date   at a rent of  £   per calendar month. I hereby agree to be answerable to Direct Housing / Landlord for any and all rent reserved by the tenancy agreement which the above named person (The Tenant) shall be liable to pay to Direct Housing/Landlord. I shall also be answerable to Direct Housing/Landlord for any other duty under the tenancy agreement for which the Tenant shall be liable. I agree for Direct Housing to carry out any necessary credit/referencing checks.
    This Guarantee is a continuing Guarantee and security, and my liability under it shall not be affected by your giving time or any other indulgence to the tenant.
