Community Social Saturday is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides social opportunities for people with physical and intellectual disabilities through free and discounted group activities held one Saturday per month. Community Social Saturday supports annual programming for many of HAC’s Community Fitness Friday participants.
The Hockessin Fire Company, also known as Station 19, is a volunteer fire company providing fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to the greater Hockessin area. Their team answers roughly 1,800 ambulance calls and 1,000 firetruck calls annually, relying on public donations, fundraisers, and rentals to cover a significant portion of their operating expenses.
