  • Situation / Background:

You have just been assigned as the new virtual executive assistant to a fast-growing startup company.

The client wants to plan an off-site meeting in Portland, Maine, sometime in June. They want to decide on venues and restaurants during their next leadership meeting (in two weeks).

They need your help identifying a venue that can accommodate 15 employees for 3 days (weekdays) and two nights. They also need help identifying solutions for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that accommodate all employees, some of whom will need vegan meal options. Breakfast and lunch should be catered or available onsite or within walking distance of the main venue. Dinners should be at restaurants somewhere other than the primary venue location.

    Situation:

Recommend three possible venues in the Portland, ME, area that can accommodate all 15 employees for the desired period of time, as well as a short list of vendors and/or restaurants that fit the requirements/criteria.

The client has explicitly asked for "cost estimates" to be included with the recommendations.

Assume that a group of executives will use your deliverable(s) as-is during an internal meeting where they will want to make formal decisions or approvals. Use your judgment and try to anticipate the kind of information (and the format and presentation of that information) that they will need to make decisions.

When done with your research and deliverables, you may submit your final deliverable(s) using one (or both) of the options below.
