  • The following is a release that we ask the parent/guardian to sign before allowing the minor child to participate in the program. I, the undersigned, will not hold MCTA or any acting individual acting on behalf of MCTA responsible for claims of physical injury or ailment incurred during the period of time tht the minor child is participating in the "MCTA Junior Team Tennis". i hereby release MCTA and all individuals employed by MCTA from any and all responsibility for claims of physical injuries sustained by the minor child. I understand this a physical activity and if necessary (due to any health problem the minor child may have or have had in the past), I will be responsible for obtaining approval from a phsician before beginning the program. 

     

  • League Information (Please read carefully):

    New for 2024:

    All MCTA Junior Co-Ed Competitive Leagues will be run using the UTR Sports platform. All divisions will stay the same (10U, 12U, 14U, and 18U; Rookie, Intermediate, and Advanced). 10U Rookie will use orange ball, 10U Intermediate/Advanced and 12U Rookie will use green ball.

    The playing format will continue as 2 singles, and 1 doubles (except for 10U the format will be 3 courts of singles).

    Matches are 90 minutes and are played during the weekends, Saturday and/or Sunday, and scheduled starting as early as 12pm and as late as 7:30pm. Matches are held at facilities in and around Montgomery County (Wheaton Indoor Tennis, Manor CC (Winter season only), Lakewood CC, and Montgomery Tennisplex).

    Cost is $188 per player, $170.00 for players with a UTR Power membership.

    Matches will count towards a players UTR rating, all matches will be verified and division winners will be decided by the total number of match wins.
