AJF Batting Cage Rules

Hours of Operation: 5 pm - 8 pm 1. Use of the batting cages is on a TEAM RESERVATION ONLY. 2. All users of the batting cages understand they use the facility at their own risk. The Alma Jean Foundation is not liable for any personal injury or equipment damage sustained in or around the batting cages. All adults and athletes entering the property MUST have medical insurance. 3. Absolutely NO METAL CLEATS are allowed in the batting cages. Batters are required to wear rubber cleats or closed-toed shoes while in the batting cage. 4. All batters must wear a helmet while in the batting cage. 5. Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. 6. Adults are responsible for the actions of the youths in the batting cage. 7. Only two people will be in the cage at one time: the batter and pitcher/pitching machine operator. 8. All pitchers/pitching machine operators are strongly encouraged to use “L screen” protective screens at all times of operation. 9. When a pitching machine is used inside the batting cage, the pitching machine operator must be at least 18 years of age. 10. When the cage is in use, the net must be properly closed and secured to prevent outside observers from being exposed to flying balls. 11. No for-profit private lessons allowed in the batting cages. 12. No food or drink is allowed inside the batting cages. 13. All users are expected to keep the batting cage and surrounding area clean and free of litter at all times. Dispose of all trash. 14. All minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult when using the restroom facilites. 15. Any questions, issues, or concerns please call (808)227-6259. The rules have been established to ensure the safe and efficient usage of the Alma Jean Foundation Batting Cage. These rules must be adhered to at all times. Individuals/teams observed to be in violation of said rules are subject to loss of privilege to use the batting cage and any other facilites.
