  • Why Death in art? is this residency for you?

This is the most powerful residency we have created. It is often the residency that connects artists that have been confronting , reflecting and exploring death in their creative practice and life for a while. It is a residency where often artists come seeking kindred spirits that live and create in liminal spaces. This is a great residency for artists already challenging concepts of death and acknowledge the reverence and deep consideration that death requires . Regardless of your medium ( music, performance, visual arts, film, new media or esoteric practices ) this residency calls the artists that are ready to join a community of deep sharing and growing. If you are ready to lean in to a caring ,sharing and powerful community this residency is for you. Often this residency is deeply transformative, confronting of our shadows but also empowers people to harness death as a point of rebirth. It you are unsure, book a inquiry coffee date to help clarify your questions before applying. info@santarosaarts.com or graham.rocio@gmail.com
