It has been eight years since the Pine Grove Association and the Canton Juneteenth Committee hosted its first Juneteenth Celebration in Canton, MS. This year we plan to continue this tradition on Friday and Saturday, June 14 – June 15, 2024, in honor of 159 years of freedom. Thank you for your support in the past.  The awareness, education, and celebration of this endeavor would not have been possible without your support.  We hope you can assist us again this year with a sponsorship.

 

Our Juneteenth events will include a 5K run/walk, vendor fair, expungement clinic, forums, and other activities promoting health, wellness, freedom and hope. All events will take place in Canton. The focus this year is on bringing hope to the community.  You can find information about our event at www.cantonjuneteenth.com.

 

Your tax-deductible contribution will help ensure the success and continuance of this community celebration. The Pine Grove Association is a tax-exempt organization. Its Employee Identification Number is 64-0810734. 

 

Proceeds from this event will benefit the youth programs of the Pine Grove Association. The Pine Grove Association continues to help youth excel in all areas of development, including academically, socially, and culturally. Our official 5K Run/Walk travels through some of Canton’s Historic neighborhoods. We are encouraging organizations to organize teams and participate.
