2027 NICAR Board of Directors Application

Thank you for your interest in serving on the NICAR Board of Directors and for offering yourself as a potential candidate in NICAR’s formal Board Nomination Process. This is a tremendous responsibility and a commitment of service to our entire Membership.

We also want to make sure you are aware of the typical time commitment for NICAR Directors. Director positions are for two Fiscal Years, and will commence on November 1, 2026 and conclude on October 31, 2028. Our Board typically meets semi-monthly for approximately one and a half hours per meeting. Meeting dates & times are predetermined and will be available before Installation but are typically the second Wednesday of the odd-numbered months at 9:00am.

Directors are expected to attend NICAR’s Annual October Installation Ceremony. Directors are also expected (within reason) to attend NICAR events. Click below to see the 2026 Event Calendar to give you an idea of what the 2027 Event Calendar will look like.
