LGBTQ+ Self-Advocacy Group

For Adults with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities. Support people are welcome. This group aims to create a welcoming and inclusive community, connect folks with necessary resources, and participate in local LGBTQ events together. Meetings will be on the last Wednesday of each month, when that date does not fall on a holiday!
The next meeting will be on August 28th from 6pm-7pm

at The Arc Chemung-Schuyler at 711 Sullivan St, Elmira.

Workshop at next meeting: LGBTQ+ 101 with Kerr Mesner

Learn about different Queer identities, pronouns, the difference between gender and sexual orientation, coming out, and more. Ask questions and learn!
