Buildsmart trailer Volunteer

  • VOLUNTEER FOR THE BUILDSMART TOUR 2024-2025!

    We are looking for volunteers to help us bring sustainability education to our community.

    If you are a manufacturer, distributor, or other vendor who would like to showcase your latest green building technology, material, or product, please also fill out our Call for Demonstration form.

    The BuildSmart Trailer is a mobile learning resource that demonstrates both sustainable living and commercial building environments, illustrating indoor air quality, energy, and water-efficient green building methods to raise awareness of issues that impact occupant health, energy efficiency, and more. Currently, the trailer displays over 40 green building materials and energy efficiency solutions that have raised awareness for thousands of California residents over the past 7 years.

     

    The BuildSmart Trailer will be used for direct community engagement through local events, partnerships with industry-leading conferences, and community-based organizations throughout California and it expects to directly engage more than 5,000 people in 2024-2026 as the trailer tours throughout events and communities across California to raise awareness on energy efficiency and green building best practices.
