The Summer Tap Intensive is designed to train, identify and develop Tap Dance students’ skills, abilities and creative talent, while learning and focusing on new, fast-paced choreography. Students will also have an opportunity to audition for the Tapology Youth Ensemble.
This year's Intensive Instructors include Tapology Artistic Director Frances Bradley-Vilier, Associate Artistic Director Kandee Hogan and Outreach Director Shanzell Page; in addition to Teaching and Performing Artists Clara Reyes, Sarah Savelli, and Maurice Chestnut.
Classes for Advanced Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Afro-Caribbean will run from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Our All-Inclusive packages include Tap Dance classes appropriate to your skill level, Afro-Caribbean, Music Theory, and lunch, during the Intensive.
We are excited for another opportunity to come together and share the art of dance through performance, education and community outreach.
