2024-2025 PA Volunteer Opportunities

Our incredible community of parent volunteers is what makes our programs so successful. Thank you for considering a volunteer role, whether it be as an event co-chair, a prep volunteer, a break-room stocker and more. We appreciate you! Below are opportunities to sign up for some of next year’s events, and we will always be continually looking for committee members and volunteers throughout the year. We would love if we could get every family to volunteer for at least 1 opportunity this upcoming year!

Teacher Orientation Welcome Back Breakfast (August )
Help the PA welcome back teachers and faculty for orientation the week before school starts by organizing and hosting a yummy breakfast.
K-8 Back to School Welcome Coffee (August 14th @7:45AM)
Join the PA after drop off as we welcome parents to grab coffee and schmooze with other K-8 parents. Committee will plan, set-up and be there to welcome everyone.

Fall Festival (September 8th)
Join us for our 3rd Annual Fall Festival! Committee will plan an amazing all school event with food, fun, bounces houses, and more!
Book Fair (October 21-23rd)
The annual Book Fair is always a fun and important fundraiser for our school. Volunteers are needed throughout the week with setting up and assisting students and parents shopping for the perfect book!
Pre-K and Kinder Pizza in the Hut (October 22nd)
Pre-K and Kinder families will gather for dinner and fun in the school's Sukkah! Committee will order the pizza and plan entertainment for families to enjoy.
PreK-4th Father/Daughter Dance (November 3rd)
Help plan a night to remember with food, dancing, fun, and more for our PreK-4th girls and their dads!
Annual All School Shabbat Dinner (November 8th)
Welcome in Shabbat with the Levine community at our school wide dinner. An evening filled with food and plenty of ruach. Committee will work with the Hospitality Chair and Rabbi Fievel to plan dinner and a meaningful evening for all.
Mahjong Night (November 13th)
Join us for our 2nd Annual Mahjong Night! Volunteers will help gather tables, sets, and set up for a night full of fun!
EC Sunday Funday (November 17th)
Join other EC families to celebrate Sunday Funday including yummy food, special appearances from teachers, and more! Committee will plan this exciting morning for EC kids and families.
Teacher Appreciation Luncheons (September 25, January 22, & May 6)
We love our teachers and staff and the PA loves to show our appreciation for all the hard work they do! Three Luncheons are planned throughout the year. Committee will plan and set up food and decorations. Volunteers can help with set up, serving, helping in the classroom to allow teachers to enjoy lunch, and other tasks.
All School Hanukkah Party (December 15th)
Light the night with the PA at our annual Hanukkah party! Committee will plan a party with dinner, dessert, entertainment, and a night that everyone at school will remember!
Women's Challah Bake (January 15th)
Join us for a meaningful night with other Levine women, where you will learn how to make and braid your own challah for your Shabbat table!
PreK-4th Mother/Son Dance (February 2nd)
Help plan a night of memories full of dancing and fun for PreK-4th boys and their moms!
K-8 Purim Carnival (March 13th)
Help our K-8th students have a Purim to remember! Committee will plan and organize entertainment and games for the kids. Volunteers will help set up/break down and run games.
EC Purim Carnival (March 13th)
Help our EC students have a Purim to remember! Committee will plan and organize entertainment and games for the kids. Volunteers will help set up/break down and run games.
Teacher Appreciation Week (May 5-9th)
What better way to thank our teachers and staff for everything they do than planning a week full of surprises! Committee will organize and plan a daily treat, including food and student involvement.
Summer Send-off (May)
Join the PA as we splash into summer with our annual all school Summer Send-off party! Committee will plan an event that all ages will enjoy for one of the last events of the year!
Teacher End of the Year Luncheon (Day after school May 23rd)
When all the students are gone, let's shower our teachers with love by providing them lunch to say "Thank You" one more time for a great year! Committee will organize, decorate, and provide a beautiful lunch as they clean their rooms and close out a wonderful school year!
Monday Menches
Monday Menches is an ongoing program throughout the school year. Volunteers will donate about an hour of time on a Monday to assist the PA with tasks such as stocking the break rooms, sorting the lost and found, and other tasks for the PA and teachers.

*Liaison between PA and grade parents, as well as be an ambassador of the PA at school wide and community events

*Create and maintain class chat

*Coordinate class Hanukkah and End of the Year parties with class teachers (EC-Kinder) and with GLC (1st-4th) and help plan grade level events

*Coordinate birthday parties for class teachers

*Attend PA meetings and help arrange volunteers for school events
