Youth Room Host Sign-Up

VIRTUAL State 4-H Presentations, May 4-8, 2025
THIS REGISTRATION IS ONLY FOR VIRTUAL PRESENTATIONS.

IF YOU ARE EVALUATING FOR THE IN-PERSON EVENT, REGISTER HERE.

State 4-H Presentation Event are being offered either virtually, during a 2-hour time block offered between May 4-8, 2025 or in-person on Saturday, May 17, 2025 on the UC Davis campus.

Eligibility:

Senior 4-H Members (age 14 to 18) familiar with 4-H Presentations.

Responsibilities:
- Attend Room Host Orientation: Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 6-8 p.m.
- Become familiar with the UC 4-H Presentation Manual - Revised January 2021
- Review page 50 in the UC 4-H Presentation Manual - Revised January 2021
- Become familiar with "Host" controls in Zoom.us.
- Log into Zoom at least 15 minutes early and prepare the room.
- Greet presenters and evaluators as they login.
- Introduce the presenters and give the presenters any needed assistance.
- Ask the evaluators if they are ready for the next presenter.
- Help with any difficulties that arise.
