As an On Your Mark Volunteer Tutor, I will:

Meet with my student(s) on a weekly basis, on time, for the full school year.

Inform one of the Program Coordinators if I am not able to attend a support session within a timely manner.

Respect the confidentiality statement below and the rules shared by the OYM Program during the school year.
Confidentiality Statement:

As a Volunteer for the On Your Mark Program, I understand that I may have access to confidential information about the students I am tutoring, students enrolled in the program as well as fellow Tutors and Site Supervisors.

I understand that I may receive verbal or written communication regarding my student's course grades, personal issues, etc., from my student, supervisor(s), program coordinator(s), parent/guardian(s), teacher(s), and/or school staff. I acknowledge that this information must be kept confidential.

I also understand that volunteering with the On Your Mark Program means that I must take responsibility to preserve the confidentiality of this information and that failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in the termination of my volunteer placement.
Reporting of Child Abuse:

I understand that if I suspect that a student is in need of protection, is one who is or who appears to be suffering from abuse and/or neglect, who may demonstrate this through actions, spoken word, artistic drawings or other means I am to report this information to a Program Coordinator immediatley.
