Dear Columbia Basin Businesses and Residents:
The Farmer Consumer Awareness Day (FCAD) committee is diligently preparing for the upcoming event scheduled for September 14th, 2024. We're once again seeking the support of local businesses and individuals. This support is essential in bringing this festival to life.
FCAD operates within a constrained budget, relying heavily on the dedication of volunteers who invest countless hours in planning the parade, fun run, tours, booths, entertainment, car show, and soccer tournament. We pride ourselves on providing these activities to all attendees without any associated fees. However, sustaining this tradition requires the generous support of our community. Donations play a crucial role in covering expenses such as rentals for portable restrooms, insurance, entertainment, sound equipment, and other essential needs for the event. Your contribution enables us to continue offering these enriching experiences to everyone who participates.
This year FCAD is also trying to expand the agricultural education displays. If you are interested in making a display, or allowing FCAD to borrow a display, please reach out.
Please consider a personal or business donation to help support this year’s Farmer Consumer Awareness Day. The event brings many out-of-town visitors to our community and many of them spend their dollars at area businesses for food, lodging, gas, produce and other products. Supporting Farmer Consumer Awareness Day is a great investment in our community, and we hope you will consider donating. All donors will be publicly recognized for their contributions.
Farmer Consumer Awareness Day is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization ran entirely by volunteers. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact FCAD Treasurer, Rebekah Bushman, at (509) 289-9107, or via email at fcadquincy@gmail.com. You can donate online at quincyfcad.org and clicking on the “Make a Donation” button on the front page.
Thank for your support,
Farmer Consumer Awareness Day Committee
