Harmony Equestrian Center has been teaching children the joys of horses since 2010 in Fincastle, VA. Campers from Botetourt County and surrounding areas have been enjoying our summer camps for 14 years and we are looking forward to a summer full of learning and fun in 2024!

Looking to expand your horse knowledge? Interested in spending more time with the horses? Then join us for our summer camps! We offer different day camp experiences to fit a variety of ages and abilities. We keep all of our camps small in order to provide the best possible, individualized experience for your horse crazy kid! For a description of each camp, click "next." Because we intentionally keep our camps small, space is limited! For your convienence, we have made the registration form available online! You can submit your child's registration here and contact Stacey Collins for payment! We hope your horse crazy kid joins us for one or more of our day camps in 2024!

HEC's Horse Crazy Kids Camp is perfect for the Horse Crazy Kid in your life. Students will be immersed in everything horses for the week. Camp runs from 8am to 1pm Monday through Friday. Students will ride daily, learn basic stable management, horsemanship, and have a ton of fun! At the end of the week, students put on a show to demonstrate the skills they have acquired during the week. The show is at 9:45am on Fridays. 

Horse Crazy Kids is open to all kids ages 6 and older regardless of experience. 

What to Bring:

• Long pants for riding; shorts may be worn when not riding.
• Boots/sturdy shoes with a 1-inch heel
• ASTM.SEI approved safety helmet
• Snack, water, & lunch
• Sunscreen

COST:

$75/day/ student; $290 per student for one week; $270 per student per week for two weeks; $250 per student per week for three or more weeks.

$50 non-refundable deposit per student per week is required to secure your spot with the rest of your payment due the first day of your child's camp week. The MINI session is $180 for all three days.

For those riders looking for a more advanced, specialized focus, we offer Equestrian Week. We focus on dressage, stadium jumping, introducing cross country, videoing and analyzing rides, working on endurance and strength.

Cost is $375. Camp runs from 8-4. Riders will ride twice on some days. On the final day of camp, the students will perform a riding demonstration for family and friends.

Horse Play camp is geared towards our youngest horse lovers. This is a three day 8:30- 11:30 experience for 4-6 year olds. Students will ride daily, help with grooming, tacking, learn how to lead, play games, and more.

Please bring water and a snack!

Cost is $65 per day or $190 for all three days.

Harmony Equestrian Center, LLC will once again be offering a specialty camp through Camp Bethel. Campers will come to HEC for two days from 8:30-11:30 for horsemanship, stable management, and riding classes. The rest of the day will be spent in a traditional over night camping experience at Camp Bethel. Dates for these camps are: June 17-20, July 2-4, and July 15-18. Camp Too Sweet: July 9-11.
