    With artist demos, exhibition (which will remain throughout the week), awards and more!

    A weekend celebration of watercolour for our 2026 edition of United Through Watercolour.

    - Paintings must be submitted digitally to our jotform page, no later than August 15th,

    - Paintings that are being mailed in or sent digitally for print must be sent no later than October 1st,

    - All in person drop offs and hanging will be at the start of the exhibition at 1pm on October 17th.

    • This exhibition will run from October 17th until Monday October 26th, at which date artists may pick up their work, or arrange to have it sent to them for the shipping costs.

     


    • Work must be framed and ready to hang, and mailed ahead of time (received no later than October 15th) to Ian Wright or dropped off in person at 1pm on Saturday October 17th. 

     


    • Only 2 paintings per member,

    $50 hanging fee (IWS Canada members only) 

    Can be paid by e-transfer to iwscanada@gmail.com (must be received before October 1st 2026)

     


    • Paintings must be submitted already framed and ready to hang, unless previously discussed with IWS Canada to arrange for mounting and framing. 

     


    • If you wish to mail a painting, we must receive all mailed in artwork by October 1st 2026.

    Shipping costs are the responsibility of the artist.

     


    • For those who wish to take part, but prefer to send a digital image rather than a framed original, you may do so. For the same $50 fee we will print out your painting and hang it in a standard sized black frame. 

     


    • If you wish to have your painting displayed in our booklet, we must receive the image no later than August 15th. Please send the image to the jotform link below. 

     


    • Show awards to be determined by Judges Luan Quach and Ian Wright and will be awarded on Sunday October 18th during the ceremonies at 3pm. 

     


    • Following the show we encourage guests to stay for the Gospel concert by John Campbell and his choir later on the evening of Sunday October 18th. 

     


    • The sale of any painting is the responsibility of the artist, and any inquiries will be forwarded to them without commission taken by IWS Canada. 

     


    • Paintings must contain at least 50% water based media, and we discourage the use of AI in any form. 

    The type of paper is completely open to the artist.

     


    • We will do our best to keep artwork safe, and have not yet had any incident, but we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged work.
