Hiking/ General Adventure Gear List Template
Thanks for creating a Guidefitter Gear List! This form will walk you through the steps of building a general gear list and should only take you 20-30 minutes to complete. If you are looking for a hunting or fishing specific list, please use our other templates instead. You are more than welcome to submit multiple gear lists for different adventures as well! Just complete and submit your current form and then create an additional list. Please note that once gear lists are submitted, you may be contacted to further detail your list.

Please write a few sentences here explaining the gear you choose within this section. This can include why you like the product, what success you have had with it, etc.
Example: I solo hike most of the time and tend to stick to day trips where I can return home at night when hiking semi-locally. With that being said, I dont need a multi-day set up or camping equipment. Just enough to where if I did get stuck for the night, I would be okay until I was able to make my way out the next day or have help come in to get me if I was injured.
Backpack
Example: Mystery Ranch Coulee 40. I really like this pack due to the ability of me to be able to comfortably haul all of my desired gear in and can push 10-15 miles in a single day without becoming sore. The multiple pocks are also a must in organizing my gear in the field.

Example: You never understand how much your clothing is actually your gear until you get into something that helps you instead of hinders your likeliness of a successful trip. Listed below are the pieces that I layer throughout my entire season which will take me from 95ºF to 20ºF. The key is knowing your system and knowing what pieces you need to layer when to be able to maximize your heat retention and manage breathability to reduce your perspiration.
Baselayer Top
Example: Badlands Ovis 1/4 Zip. No matter if I'm hiking mid supper or late fall, this is the first piece of gear I will put on. Its light enough to manage the 90º summer heat and is the perfect piece to wick away moisture and keep me dry when the temperature plummets later in the season.
