  • Note: Event Calendar listings are for Flinders University or Flinders University associated events only. Please only fill out this form if you are a Flinders staff member or student.  

    Fill in the form below to add your event to the Flinders Events website calendar and/or if you require a registration form (Eventbrite listing).

    Please note the website calendar is public only. However, the Eventbrite listing can be made public (event searchable online) or private (only accessed through a link).

    Payment for course registrations must be through iEnrol or the University online payment system but can be promoted on the Flinders Events website calendar.

    Event submissions will be reviewed within two business days. Please allow sufficient time for review before your event is published and ensure the information submitted is accurate. For 10 or more submissions, please allow up to 5 business days for us to process the requests.

    Please list the contact email for guests to contact should they have any questions regarding the event. We recommend a generic email address (i.e., your College/Portfolio operations email)

    Details added here are what will appear on the Flinders Events and Eventbrite pages.
  • Your event overview / promotional blurb

    Upload a Word document containing your public facing event overview / promotional blurb. Include more details about your event and what guests can expect if they attend (e.g. what will they experience or learn, why should they attend / who is the event relevant for, will catering be provided, who will be presenting). If required please include presenter bios, agenda and FAQs.

  • If your event has multiple sessions at the same venue with the same event overview/description, start by filling in the first session and add the other details (times & dates) in the 'Additional Sessions' field provided below. Please note, if you have multiple session at different venues or individual event overview/descriptions, you will need to submit a seperate form for each venue

    Please ensure all images adhere to the following specifications.

    Image instructions for Flinders Events Website Calendar:

    • Images are not overlayed with text (image only, no text)
    • Images are high resolution, landscape orientation (recommended 2000 x 1200px / 2:1 aspect ratio)
    • Supported image files: JPG or PNG

    Image instructions for Eventbrite:

    • Recommended image size: 2160 x 1080px (recommended 2000 x 1200px / 2:1 aspect ratio)
    • Maximum file size: 10MB
    • Supported image files: JPG or PNG
    • Text permitted (headings, event information, logos etc)

    If you are having problems sourcing images there are a number of royalty free photography sites - like Unsplash. Please include their preferred crediting information in the image caption below (e.g. Photo by Andre Benz on Unsplash).

  • A standard reminder email is set to be sent 2 days prior to the event and will contain the basic event information.

    The reminder emails can be personalised. For instance, if your event is both online and in person, we can send the livestream link to the people registered to attend online 2 hours before the event and we can give guests attending in person more information about car parking/directions.
