    Clark County Emergency Management, in cooperation with the Clark County Health Department, have begun a project to increase the number of Clark County (INDIANA) residents who have at least one method for receiving emergency and severe weather alerts. Not every Clark County, Indiana resident can afford a smart cellular phone and/or a NOAA weather radio capable of automatically alerting when severe weather is in the area; this project targets those in this type of situation. Use the below online form to NOMINATE a Clark County, Indiana resident; even yourself, who does not have a working smart cellular phone and is in need of a working and reliable Weather Radio capable of receiving severe weather alerts. Nominee's will be evaluated for project qualifying criteria (as outlined above), and may receive a weather alert radio at no charge, with back up power batteries.
  • Upon receipt of the above information, a representative of the Clark County Emergency Management Agency, located in Clark County, indiana (visit our website), will make contact with the identified nominee for purposes of evaluation for receiving a "no charge" Weather Alert Radio, capable of receiving severe weather alerts for the Clark County, Indiana area.
