Please submit a statement of interest that responds to the following questions. The statement should not exceed 1,200 words total. Why is a Community Fellowship at the CIP right for you? Share how the fellowship might inspire or energize your work; what expertise, connections, and experiences you both seek and are uniquely suited to contribute to the center’s community, efforts, and activities; and what specific goals or ambitions you hope to achieve during your fellowship. How does your work connect to the mission of the CIP? Describe the challenges you are addressing, outline the approaches that inform your work, and tell us about the communities you serve or aim to serve. How does your background and experience inform and influence your work? What types of opportunities are you most interested in and why? If you have a specific person or project affiliated with the CIP that you are interested in connecting with during your Fellowship, please indicate their names and what type of opportunities you are interested in. (Note: This is optional and does not impact the selection process)

3. Project proposal (PDF) -- articulating your ideas that you want to work on during the term. The proposal can evolve over the course of the fellowship.
