    THE GLOW SHOW

  • What to expect in the program
    In this 14 week performance program we will be dividing our dancers into

    6 group levels:

    Intro-Beginner | Beginner | Beginner-Intermediate | Intermediate | Intermediate-Advanced | Advanced.

    2 style programs:

    Commercial & Hip Hop | Jazz & Lyrical 

    For the Jazz/Lyrical program we will only be offering Intermediate & Advanced levels at this time. If you are in the Jazz/Lyrical program you will dance one jazz routine and one lyrical. If you are in the Commercial/Hip Hop program you will dance one commercial routine and one hip hop.  There will be an option to do both programs for a bundle price. If you choose to do both programs you will dance four routines, all four styles.

    Each individual program will learn and perform two dance routines. Dividing our dancers into multiple levels allows our instructors to focus on making each group look their very best without any unrealistic expectations! 

    You will be led by multiple instructors who have all had extensive training in dance and production shows like this one. Our team are made up of industry professionals who cannot wait to make this show a show to remember!

    We have LIMITED SPACE in each group, it will be first come, first serve!

  • What to expect at the performance
    During our 14 weeks of rehearsals we will be gearing up to perform at Hypes very own GLOW event in Kelowna on November 23rd, 2024! Due to our theme being so visual it gives us a little more freedom in our music choices, so you can expect a mixed bag for this one! Our event will be a “night out” vibe with a live DJ playing between routines, a bar and an open floor for guests to dance the night away with us! You will be the nights entertainment, in a show you DO NOT want to miss!

    We are happy to offer a payment plan option for EACH STYLE PROGRAM!

    Non Refundable Deposit: $200 to secure your spot

    Payment Plan for remainder:

    $50 Bi Weekly will be taken from your account for a total of 4 payments to pay the remaining $200. This must be set up by August 16th. Total program cost is $400.

     

    If you are interested in doing ALL FOUR STYLES:

    Non Refundable Deposit: $400

    Payment Plan for remainder:

    $50 Bi Weekly will be taken from your account for a total of 6 payments to pay the remaining $300. This must be set up by August 16th. Total Bundle cost is $700.

    Payment Policy

    Deposits and tuition are non-refundable due to a very limited capacity in each group. All deposits and payment plans must be set up by August 16th, 2024 to ensure your spot in the program.

     

    Dress Code & Lost Property Policy

    We suggest wearing clothing you feel comfortable moving in. Sneakers are also recommended for our dance floor. Dancers must wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the type of activity they will engage with during the class. Should the instructor deem the attire unsafe, we reserve the right to prevent you from taking part in the activity. This is done as a matter of health and safety.

    Be sure to bring a filled water bottle! Hype Dance does not accept responsibility for items lost or stolen, although anything we do find will be placed in lost property.


    Behavior Policy

    During sessions, participants are expected to behave in a polite manner. Any unacceptable behavior from participants will not be tolerated. Unacceptable behavior by participants may result in exclusion from current and/or further classes.

    Participants must obey the class and facility rules, and take Full responsibility for their behavior to any damage caused to the facilities, utilized by Hype Dance.


    Health and Safety

    Hype Dance takes seriously their responsibility to ensure the health and safety of all participants, and teachers; and takes appropriate measures to make sure the environment is safe for all.

    Hype Dance will undertake regular risk assessments regarding premises hired and any concerns will be raised with the providers.

    Dance is as an active engagement as any sport, and whilst every effort is made to avoid them, injuries can happen. Hype Dance accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained, death, or any personal property damage/loss, which may occur on the premises, via any means other than a teacher’s negligence.

    Hype Dance is licensed and insured organization. In the event that you observe any unsafe conduct, or conditions before, during or after the classes, we ask you toto report the unsafe conduct, or conditions to instructors or staff members as soon as possible.


    Media Use Rights Permission

    We ask participants to grant permission for Hype Dance to take photographs and videos of the participants. No personal information is ever used or linked to the photographs and videos.

    We ask for full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the group’s aims. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, website, press releases and funding applications.
