1. Completed registration forms must be submitted at least 7 working days before the course start date.
2. A security deposit of $50 must be made upon registration of any course. The security deposit is refundable if the learner turns up for the course.
- In the event the learner registers for 1 course only, the security deposit will be refunded on the last day of the course.
- In the event the learner registers for more than 1 course, the security deposit will be refunded on the last day of the final course.
- Refunds will be made via the payment method selected in the registration form.
3. Upon registration, learners will receive payment advice within the next working day. All course fees must be paid before the course begins; otherwise, a place in class cannot be guaranteed.
4. Course Fees are non-refundable once attendance is taken.
5. Learners must have a functioning Singpass account to record e-attendance. If Singpass is unavailable or not working, SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) may reject the grant claim, and the learner will be responsible for paying the full course fee.
6. Malaysian learners must hold a valid work permit and are not eligible for government grants.
7. Course schedules may change if the minimum number of learners is not met. Acestes Training Centre also reserves the right to change the date or venue or cancel the course due to unforeseen circumstances.
8. Attendance and assessment requirements:
- Singaporean Citizens and Permanent Residents must attend at least 75% of training hours and pass the assessment to qualify for the training grant.
- If SSG rejects the grant claim for any reason, the learner will be responsible for paying the full course and assessment fees.
9. Learners may defer or postpone their course/assessment once only, subject to approval and valid supporting documents.
- For medical absences, a valid medical certificate must be submitted within 3 working days.
- Any further deferment requests will be treated as cancellations, and the refundable deposit will be forfeited. Learners may re register upon management approval.
10. Learners who fail their assessment may request a reassessment date. Reassessment fees must be paid in full before sitting for the reassessment.
- The reassessment must be completed within 60 days of the original course start date.
- If the reassessment falls after 60 days or the learner fails again, the full course fee will apply.
11. Upon course completion, learners must complete the SSG Training Quality and Outcome Measurement (TRAQOM) survey.
12. Acestes Training Centre reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
13. Learners may be rejected if they are disruptive during training, do not meet entry requirements, or fail to comply with the terms and conditions stated above.
