Yulee High School Marching Band and the Yulee Band Parent Association strive to be inclusive organizations. A limited amount of financial assistance is available through the Yulee Band Parent Association to help families who demonstrate need.

No student should be discouraged to join due to program financial obligations. We will assist every family we are able to. However - we need to know who needs financial help *well before the season* so we can plan and budget accordingly. Timely communication is essential for those who will require assistance. All financial communications are completely confidential.

Deadline for completion of this poll is 5/20/24.

2024-25 YHS MARCHING BAND FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS
Required for all marching band participants including color guard

UNIFORM PACKAGE DUE June 8 2024.
This year, every marching band member (including color guard) is required to purchase a Uniform Package. This uniform package includes 2 band tees (casual uniform,) 1 band show tee, 1 band hoodie. The uniform package is part of the marching band and color guard field show uniform. Purchase of the uniform package is required prior to participation in marching band camp or practices.

FAIR SHARE $600 - approximate subject to change once all funds have been assessed - DUE 6/8/24
Each participant's fair share of the marching band program budget (including color guard members) is expected to be $600. The school district provides very little funding for our programs. Running a quality band and guard program requires a sizeable budget. We try to keep expenses reasonable, but also want our students to be part of a competitive program. Each student's Fair Share represents the amount that we need to receive from their family (their "fair share" of the program budget that is not funded.) If even one family does not meet their Fair Share after our financial assistance reserves are expended, we have to find something to cut -- the entire band/guard program is affected. We are very proud of our students, our school, and our community, and want to show our pride through quality concerts, marching band shows, winter guard shows, winter percussion shows, and jazz band performances. Please join us in these efforts by meeting your Fair Share.
