Withdrawal Policy

Early withdrawal from voice lessons before completion of the committed time frame requires a 30-day withdrawal notice that must be emailed to tct.programming@gmail.com. No refunds will be offered for lessons missed or withdrawn from.

Payment Authorization

I hereby authorize Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre to charge my credit or debit card for all tuition costs and fees related to my family's enrollment in classes and activities at Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre. Fees are subject to change. I understand that it will not be sufficient notice to merely tell an instructor or other employee of our intent to discontinue. I have read this entire agreement and understand that I will be held fully responsible for its terms and conditions of service, including a 30-day written notice by email to the Program Director of any intent to discontinue.

Media Release

I authorize Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre to use photos and videos of my child for promotional purposes, including but not limited to such media as: website, social
media, newspaper, magazine, television, etc.

Medical Emergencies

In the event of injury or accident, I hereby authorize my child to receive any emergency medical attention deemed necessary while present at Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre if parents or emergency contacts cannot be reached by telephone. I also hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre and its faculty members from all liability or claims.

Liability Release

I consent to my child’s participation in the classes I have registered for at Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre. I hereby release Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre, its directors, and its employees, from all claims of liability arising from any accident, personal injury, property loss, or damage sustained by my child while they participate in and travel to and from their classes at Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre. I grant Tuscaloosa Children’s Theatre directors and employees the authority to obtain and consent to emergency medical care for my child if they deem it necessary. I accept full responsibility for payment of any such emergency care, and I accept full responsibility for providing adequate health and accident insurance coverage for the protection of my child.

I understand and acknowledge that, because of the physical nature of theatre, there
may be physical contact between directors, employees, and participants during their classes. I understand that, for proper instruction and safety, physical contact may be required and necessary.

Absentee Policy

Regular attendance is essential for each student's progress in their classes. Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre cannot refund for classes missed, regardless of illness or other reasons. Group and private makeup classes will not be offered. Those that register for the June session will attend class on June 6, 13, 20, and 27th. Those that register for the July session will attend class on July 11, 18, 25, and August 1st. Those that register for the entire summer will attend the dates in both the June and July session.

Inclement Weather

Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre will follow the typical scheduling of the Tuscaloosa City School System along with any of the calls made by the Tuscaloosa City Board of Education regarding inclement weather. We will also email and post to our social media accounts regarding any closings. We do not refund for inclement weather closings.
