TNUCP Reciprocal Certification
To apply in Tennessee, a DBE must submit the following three items:

1. A cover letter with its application that specifies that the DBE is applying for interstate certification, identifies all UCPs in which the DBE is certified (including the UCP that originally certified it)

2. An electronic image of the UCP directory of the original UCP that shows the DBE certification*

3. A DOE (Declaration of Eligibility) form. This form is provided at the end of this document. *Proof of certification must show sufficient information as required to populate in our Corporate Efficiency Datatbase & TNUCP’s DBE Directory. The following items must be included: business address, business phone number, firm website(s), NAICS codes and a description of the types of work the firm has been certified to perform as a DBE and/or ACDBE.
