Participating newsrooms commit to providing paid time off for journalists to attend online training once a week for four weeks and travel to two in-person sessions. Newsrooms also agree to cover each journalist’s roundtrip transportation to the out-of-town sessions. All food, lodging and training costs are covered by the News Fund, thanks to a generous donation from News Corp.
