Waxology101 is growing, and we're looking for our next team member to join our salon family!

We're seeking someone who is passionate about the beauty industry, loves working with people, and is excited to grow into a long-term career in waxing.

🤍 Our Training Program

All new hires will begin as a Front Desk Coordinator for a minimum of 2 months before transitioning into our Wax Specialist Training Program. This allows you to learn our systems, culture, client experience, and service standards before stepping into the wax suite.

💻 Front Desk Position

• Pay: $13/hour
• Client communication and appointment management
• Salon cleaning and organization
• Assisting with daily operations
• Social media support and content creation

✨ Wax Specialist Position

After successfully completing your Front Desk training period, you will enter a 4-week hands-on training program with salon owner Stephanie.

During this time:

• $13 an hour plus tips during training for 4 weeks
• You will perform services on discounted models at 50% off regular pricing
• You'll receive one-on-one coaching to refine your waxing techniques, speed, confidence, and client experience
• Training will focus on Brazilian waxing for men and women, full-body waxing, brow waxing, brow tinting, and salon standards
• You are highly encouraged to recruit and refer your own models as well throughout the training period to maximize your hands-on experience

At the end of the 4-week model program, we will evaluate your comfort level, technique, professionalism, and readiness to begin taking clients independently.

Once training has been successfully completed and you begin servicing clients on your own:
• Your pay will increase to $15/hour
• 5% retail and service commission
• Holiday pay when holidays fall on your scheduled workday

Our goal is to ensure every specialist feels confident, prepared, and fully supported before working independently.

Our team is expected to actively recommend retail products and service packages that support client results and enhance their waxing experience. Our Wax Specialists typically earn $22–$35+ per hour when hourly pay, commissions, and tips are combined.

💫 Requirements
• Active Texas Cosmetology or Esthetics License
• Minimum 1 year of experience performing Brazilian waxes on both women and men
• Passion for full-body waxing, brows, and client care
• Comfortable being on camera and participating in social media content
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Confidence in recommending and selling retail products and service packages
• Ability to educate clients on home care, treatment plans, and membership/package options
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Willing to assist with front desk duties, cleaning, and salon upkeep
• Motivated to help grow both your personal clientele and the salon as a whole
