  • UCCSFBA Children's Art Competition: "Uzbekistan is always in my heart"
    Eligibility

    The competition welcomes children between the ages of 6 and 13 who are enrolled in public or private schools in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. It is open to kids from Uzbekistan residing in the Bay area as well as kids born in the US whose parents have immigrated from Uzbekistan.

    Theme

    The main topic for the artwork is "Uzbekstan is always in my heart" 

    The artwork or drawings participants submit in can be objects, locations well-known structures, clothing decorations, or any other items linked to Uzbekistan.


    Prizes

    3 winners will be chosen:

    The 1st Place winner will be awarded school supplies equivalent to $100 and UCCSFBA Certificate of Recognition.

    The 2nd Place winner will be awarded school supplies equivalent to $75 and UCCSFBA Certificate of Recognition.

    The 3rd Place winner will be awarded school supplies equivalent to $50 and UCCSFBA Certificate of Recognition.

    Submission Guidelines:

    Artwork must be an original design created solely by the participant,with no assistance from others.

    NO AI GENERATED IMAGE.

    Each participant may submit only one piece of artwork.
    Artwork must be drawn by hand using crayons, color pencils, markers, or watercolor, or oil pastels.
    The size of the artwork should be 11”x14”.
    Submission Deadline:

    The deadline for submissions is Sunday September 1st, 2024 at 11:59pm PST.
    How to Enter:

    Participants must fill in the submission form on or before the submission deadline.
    Additional Information:

    Submitted artwork should be presented in original version and may be used in printed materials for promotional purposes and will be considered the property of the organizer. 
    Awards Announcement

    Winners will be announced during the UCCSFBA Fall Event 2024 and on the UCCSFBA's website, and contacted directly.
    By organizing this art competition, we aim to encourage young artists from Uzbekistan to express their love for their homeland through creative artwork and provide them with an opportunity to win valuable school supplies.

    Eligibility

    The competition is open for children between the ages of 6 and 13 who are enrolled in public or private schools in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. It is open to kids from Uzbekistan as well as kids born in the US whose parents have immigrated from Uzbekistan. 
    Participants must have parental or guardian consent to enter the competition.
    Artwork Submission

    Artwork must be original and created solely by the participant.
    Each participant can submit only one entry.
    The artwork should be submitted in a digital format or as a scanned copy.
    The submission deadline for the artwork will be clearly specified.

    Judging Criteria

    Artworks will be judged based on creativity, originality, and adherence to the theme of the competition.
    The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

    Intellectual Property

    By submitting an entry, participants grant the UCCSFBA Children's Art Competition the right to use, reproduce, and display the artwork for promotional purposes.

    Prizes

    Details about the prizes for the competition will be provided separately.
    Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

    Personal Information

    Personal information collected from participants will be used only for the purpose of the competition and will not be shared with third parties.
    Disqualification

    Entries that do not adhere to the guidelines or contain inappropriate content will be disqualified.
    Modification of Terms

    The UCCSFBA Children's Art Competition reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions if necessary.

    Agreement to Terms

    By entering the competition, participants and their parents/guardians agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
