Students will be greeted in the Chapel Lobby. They will be signed in and signed out at the desk. This is where they will receive their nametags every day. They will be monitored as they do various table activities while we have our Staff Huddle and Prayer before the Opening Assemblies.

You are welcome to attend our Closing Assemblies starting at 2:15 PM. Otherwise, please be sure to be on time to sign them out by 3:00 PM.

If you are running late, please call the office at (925) 676-6180 to let us know.

If the emergency contact person is not providing transportation, who will be? Please give name and cell phone number for those persons approved to sign-in and sign-out your child.

Is there anyone prohibited from being near your child? What are we supposed to do if we have an encounter with this person?

In addition to the traditional VBS rotations - Bible class, crafts, recreation and games, and music (learning the theme songs) - students can choose ONE music or creative arts elective class for the week. Please select their top 3 choices. We will do our best to accommodate their requests.

They will "perform" or present what they learn all week at the Final Graduation Celebration or Sunday Worship Service.

Beginning Brass Brand - Students will learn how to play the basic scale on a trumpet, if they do not already have an instrument of their own.Percussion - Students will learn the basic rudiments on the snare drum.Mission Focus - Students will do hands on daily service projects that will bless our community - for example, make blessing bags for the homeless, pack party kits for foster homes, and collect food for the pantry.Tactile Art - Students will work behind the scenes on more detailed, time-consuming art projects that will be displayed or used for our final concert.Dance - Students will choreograph and perform a dance to a Christian song.Ukulele - Students will learn a few basic chords and a couple of songs that will be performed in our Graduation Sunday Celebration.

We want to be as inclusive as possible. However, depending on the needs or requests, we may be unable to accommodate them. We will have a conversation with you about your needs or concerns so that we can come to an understanding and find a workable solution.

There will be a Final Concert and Graduation Celebration on Sunday, July 14, at 11:00 AM. We will ask the kids to arrive by 10:15 AM so that we can get them in their groups. We will provide our theme t-shirts for them to wear on the day. We hope that you will all be able to attend! Lunch and fun activities will be planned after the worship service.
