We provide all supplies and veterinary care, fosters are able to provide what they can accommodate. Would you need bowls? crates? food? litter boxes?toys? Beds? Treats? What other items may you need?
As a foster home you are considered a temporary caregiver. Through Your Pets Eyes is the legal owner of all foster animals and although you are caring for an animal, they do not become yours. If you would like to be considered as an adopter for an animal you are fostering you must communicate your interest in the animal before other applicants apply. It is the rescues preference to adopt cats to their foster homes, however foster homes may not change their mind once another applicant has been approved for the animal. Release of Liability (foster/adoptive – any animal): By requesting to foster or to adopt an animal from Through Your Pet’s Eyes (“TYPE”), you acknowledge and agree that having contact with, fostering, or adopting any animal poses certain risks including damage or injury to yourself, your family, your guests or invitees, or any individual having contact with such animal, or to property belonging to yourself or others. You acknowledge and agree that such risks include injury, up to and including – though in rare cases – serious injury that may result in death if such animal is a larger breed, and that all animal behaviour is, to some degree, unpredictable. You agree to exclusively assume all such risks, effective immediately upon you taking possession of any animal from TYPE. You, on your own behalf as well as on behalf of all of your agents, heirs or successors or assigns, executors, administrators or personal representatives, trustees, attorneys, dependents or family members, guests or invitees, (collectively, together with you, being “Yourself and Your Agents”), hereby release and forever discharge TYPE, as well as all of TYPE’s directors, officers, members, affiliates, partners, associates, employees, volunteers, contractors or agents, and any of their respective directors, officers, agents, heirs, executors, personal representatives or administrators (collectively, together with TYPE, the “TYPE Parties and Agents”), from any and all complaints, arbitrations, proceedings, actions, suits, causes of action, costs, or claims, and all demands and claims, or any similar or comparable right, process, or proceeding, of any kind or nature whatsoever whether arising out of, or arising in any way in connection with, your fostering or adopting an animal from or associated with TYPE or the TYPE Parties and Agents, or any form of relationship or association with TYPE or the TYPE Parties and Agents in any manner at any time, and whether such matter was or is existing, known, unknown, discoverable or undiscoverable, past or present, as of and to the date of this agreement or this Release contained herein. Yourself and Your Agents further agree to indemnify the TYPE Parties and Agents from any and all such complaints, arbitrations, proceedings, actions, suits, causes of action, costs, or claims, demands, or similar processes or proceedings which Yourself and Your Agents, or any other person, may commence in connection with any animal over which you have received possession from the TYPE Parties and Agents, and such indemnity shall include, without limitation, all damages, compensation, judgment(s), and costs or other expenses including legal expenses on a full indemnity basis.
