  • Photographers: Help Make the New Shelburne Falls Area Website Beautiful!

    Do you have beautiful images of Shelburne Falls hiding in your camera? It's time to set them free! A new ShelburneFalls.com is currently under development, and we are looking for your striking imagery.

  • About ShelburneFalls.com:

    West County Arts & Culture is in the process of redeveloping our local community and tourism website. ShelburneFalls.com is the place to find information about the hilltowns of West Franklin County, Massachusetts. In addition to the Village of Shelburne Falls, you'll find information about the towns of Ashfield, Buckland, Charlemont, Colrain, Conway, Hawley, Heath, Plainfield, Rowe, and Shelburne. Each town has unique small businesses, dining options, galleries, activities, events, services, and more. We hope to visually portray the beauty and array of things to experience in West County.

  • Enter the ShelburneFalls.com Photo Contest:

    All are encouraged to participate. You may enter up to eight (8) photographs. See more details and criteria below. First, second and third prizes will be awarded, $250, $150 and $100 respectively. Additional photos may be chosen to use on the site and all chosen photos will feature photographer credits. Photos will be juried by The ShelburneFalls.com Committee. The contest winners will be highlighted on ShelburneFalls.com when it relaunches this summer. All images submitted may be used on the website to showcase all that West County has to offer its community and visitors.

  • Locations:

    images of West County - Ashfield, Buckland, Charlemont, Colrain, Conway, Hawley, Heath, Plainfield, Rowe, Shelburne.

  • Image Format:

    *All images must be labeled with the title and photographer.* Landscape, Portrait, Panoramic, and Square. Highest resolution possible, jpeg, jpg format preferred.

  • Photographer Credit:

    How would you like your name to appear in the photo credit on the website? If you have a URL for your photography, please include it. If your photograph(s) are used on ShelburneFalls.com, we will do our best to inform you.

  • Rights:

    While photographers retain the rights to their work, by submitting, photographers grant West County Arts and Culture and our partners, including but not limited to the Shelburne Falls Initiative, the right to reproduce, distribute publicly, and/or use reproduced photographs in print or electronic publications, including blog posts, promotional materials, websites, and social media.
