    - I do not tattoo or complete any other designs except my own.

    - All imagery is subject to my discretion.

    - I reserve the right to refuse service.

    - Final design is at my discretion, sometimes I need to make design allowances and alterations, generally any of these are discussed previously with me. However on some occasions they have to occur during the tattoo, it is part of problem solving and due to the nature of unpredictability, when putting ink in skin.

    - You agree to pay the cost of the tattoo according to my current rates , for my time, materials, fees, and all other costs in full.

    - By booking in with me you accept my full terms and conditions.

    BOOKING POLICY:

    - Please do allow extra time for traffic, parking, filling out consent forms, etc.

    - if you have not arrived after 15 minutes into your session start time, your session and deposit will be forfeited.

    - I will not make allowances and I will not run the rest of my day behind schedule, as there could be at least several other people that will be put out by this. I can rebook you for another time and you will need to pay again.

    RATES:

My services start at $100.00 per session with a 30% deposit for the total cost of your session. I currently do not provide eftpos facilities however I do accept online banking transactions.

    LENGTH AND TIME:

    - The time a tattoo takes will depend on many variables; the detail of the design; the size of the design; the style of the design; the placement part on the body; and any design drawing or modifications that need to be done. And this is the information in my evaluation to give me time approximate estimates.

    - Estimates are not a quote and they are not exact, they are an approximate estimate.

    Other important information:

    - There are other variables that can alter the evaluated time, such as, but not limited to; individual skin texture, skin quality, skin moisture, skin stretch, pain threshold, ease of placement, drawing modifications, last minute changes in sizes, additions, or details, or waiting to receive electronic imagery from a device (do this in advance).

    - All of these variables can add time and cost to your original estimate.

    - Sometimes complications can and do arise, and result in spontaneous problem solving based on customer feed back or because the tattoo design does not look balanced. I will communicate with you any issues that he comes across. You will need to make decisions in that moment. You are absolutely invited to speak up at any time that you have a question or concern during the process. Take part in this process as it is happening to you!

    - Another consideration is the amount of time a person needs to observe placement before the tattoo can begin. This is definitely important as it needs to be right. As the tattoo is going on your body and you will have to live with it for the rest of your life unless you get tattoo laser removal treatment which can be costly. I cannot anticipate how long each person will need to make careful considerations.

    - You will be given the time you need, and I will not pressure you.

    - I do my absolute best to evaluate but it is impossible to know how long a tattoo will take, because of so many variables which are individual to each person.

TERMS OF ACCEPTING THE RISK SUCH AS BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

    - There are so many factors when dealing with skin, and people, and environment that can affect the end result.

    - The skin is the biggest organ in the body, it is living, and breathing, and pigment can be altered or rejected because of this.

    - Tattoo pigment is a foreign material and does not belong in the body it is your immune systems job to remove it.

    - If you have any medical concerns or issues then please seek advice of a qualified medical professional prior to being tattooed.

    - Fine detailed work, such as but not limited to small lettering, is not the ideal for longevity in a tattoo. Small lettering is a higher risk tattoo and the smaller you go the more likely the ink will spread out under the skin as it ages, making the sharpness and detail thicken. This can happen on some people sooner than others. And on some this does not happen at all it just depends on your skin.

    - Medication can affect the healing of your tattoo, such as but not limited to; Antibiotics taken with in weeks on either side of getting your tattoo can attack this pigment and help the body to rid of it. This is not a result of bad workman ship or cheap materials (as I have neither of these in my studio).

    - Your body could reject the ink or have difficulty accepting the ink.

    - This can happen on some people if they are sensitive to a particular color. This sensitivity will cause excessive itching, excessive scabbing, and the body will reject the ink by trying to bleed it out, or weep it out. If your tattoo is doing this after 3 days of the application please contact us or go see a medical professional.

    - If you are told by a medical professional to apply an antibiotic cream to the tattoo it is likely to affect the color, and the final quality of the healed tattoo, and this is NOT a result of poor workman ship.

    - It is also possible that you got it dirty or contaminated in this early healing stage, or that it was not properly cleaned within the 24 hour initial period, and could be causing this reaction.

    - Illness, and physical labour can also cause this reaction, and it is possible that you could have an allergic reaction (sensitivity to the ink colour). Environment, smokers, pet hair and touching with dirty hands by children, for an example, can be enough to cause this sort of initial response.

    - The area that has been tattooed can be bruised, swollen, or welted, red, stingy or sore. These are normal body reactions and this normally ceases within hours or days. If you are concerned please do contact us for guidance. Some areas will do this for much longer, such as high movement areas (joints) arms, or legs, if you work on your feet or have an active lifestyle.

    - Your health can affect the healing process of your tattoo. If you are sick there is a higher risk of ink rejection and the tattoo taking much longer to heal. This will also likely be indicated by difficulty with the initial scabbing.

    - Treatments such as but not limited to, Chemotherapy can fade tattoos and cause them to look 10 years older than they are. Weight loss and weight gain during this time can also cause premature aging of the skin and tattoo.

    - The age and quality of your skin can greatly affect the final tattoo. Spreading of the ink under the skin can occur on older skin. This can also happen on very thin skin found often on the elderly or under weight people. However ink spreading is not limited to these people and can happen on anyone and there is absolutely no way to know if it will or not.

    - Excessive weight gain or weight loss either prior to or after the tattoo can affect the longevity due to deteriorated elasticity, excess water retention in the body which can wash the ink out, or stretch and contract the tattoo causing wear and tear.

    - Stretch marks later in life in the area of the tattoo can blow out the lines of a tattoo. Tattooing over stretch marks usually cause big puffy welts during the tattoo process, which can make it very difficult to tattoo.

    - Skin pigmentation and scaring can affect brightness of colors, and toughness of skin.

    - UV light exposure will break down the pigmentation resulting in fading.

    - Skin conditions such as but not limited to, eczema, acne dermatitis, etc. can have eruptions, or cracking, under the tattoo during healing causing ink to be weeped out, ejected, or split with welting or excessive bleeding during the tattoo.

    - Small details may or may not hold for years and years. Ink can spread or move under the line work causing a blurring, smudgy look. This can happen with in a short period of time or with in a few years the smaller the detail the sooner the change in the skin on some people.

    - Sides of the feet, back of the ears, some parts of the ankle, fingers, palms or sides of the hands all have the highest risk of ink rejection and are often high maintenance tattoos. Meaning they constantly need to be re tattooed and have a very high likelihood of the ink spreading, thickening, an/or falling out. Hand tattoos will have a short life span due to the amount of hand washing and activity that the hands are used for, and the regeneration of new skin. Your job can affect the healing of a tattoo. Environments with heavy metals or chemicals in the atmosphere can aggravate a healing tattoo causing it to weep, and take much longer to heal. People such as but not limited to, welders, painters, and mechanics are in such environments. Dust from plaster, flour, wood mills, fertilizers, etc. are some examples of aggravating environments.

    - If you have a job like this, be prepared to have ink fall out and have to be reworked due to excessive scabbing etc.

    - It is best to get tattooed before annual leave for your best healing results.

    - Sports and Training. Sweat, dirt, water, stretching etc. can also affect the healing time and end result.

    - This includes but is not limited to, diving, rafting, swimming, surfing, yoga, running, gym training, rugby and all contact sports, etc.

    - Sun beds, spray tans, waxing, shaving, picking, scratching, creams, lotions, perfumes, all need to be avoided during the healing of your tattoo as they can cause irritation or infection and ink loss.

    - I do not know what you do to your tattoo when you leave my studio.

    - I do not wear the cost of any future touch ups after your first free initial touch up appointment. As you can see from the above there are many reasons and factors, which can affect the finished tattoo.

    - You get tattooed at your own risk.

    - I would say approximately 5% have sensitive reactions, and this could be due to their sensitivity; to the procedure, to the ink, or perhaps the tattoo was not cleaned properly according to my aftercare, or they are unwell at the time, under high stress, it could also be environment such as high humidity or contaminates , chemical reactions within the body, to or physical activity, high temperatures and sweating.

    - Sensitive reactions are bruising, swelling, redness, soreness, and raised skin beyond 12-24 hours.

    - If it looks angry but not infected, then it is likely your body is not happy about your new tattoo and it may need time to accept it. People that color their hair, may be having a chemical reaction, as hair dye instructions indicate that people with tattoos can have a reaction to the hair colour.

I do hope that your tattoo experience will be of an exceptional standard.

I do hope that all my clients get many, many, years high quality and pleasure from their tattoos.

I endeavor to give you excellent value for money and I thank you for your patronage.
