Come learn a fun, step-by-step approach to painting backgrounds and props inspired by animation films and video games. Students will explore simple techniques to create colorful animated worlds while building confidence with painting. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Younger students may be considered upon request. Color Design for Animation

Thursdays 1pm-2:30pm In this 4 week workshop, come paint and study with Emmy nominated character designer Michael Camacho. Learn skills and techniques taught by an Animation Industry veteran who has worked for Disney, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. This Workshop will help improve your painting skills and knowledge of the principles of color design, and also give you a good idea on what it takes to make it in the animation Industry. The techniques that will be taught will help improve your painting skills so it can be applied to any drawing medium or technique. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Younger students will be considered upon request.
