The East Point/College Park Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Jabberwock Scholarship Program consists of five components, which support the Sorority mission and Five-Point Programmatic Thrust; Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement. Each component is strategically planned to integrate relevant youth challenges, issues and concerns with practical solutions, techniques, and life skills to enhance young adult development.
The deadline for application, GPA letter, and non-refundable $150 commitment deposit is September 11, 2026. Official letters from high schools reflecting current GPA must be postmarked by September 11, 2026 and mailed to:

1. Cotillion Program Eligibility
- Must plan to attend a post-secondary college or institution (2 or 4 year)
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or better on a 4.0 scale
- Must be a high school junior or senior for Fall 2026
- Must be involved in extra-curricular activities
2. Cotillion Program Requirements
- Completed Registration Form
- Must submit an official letter from your high school reflecting current GPA
- Must be able to attend a minimum of 75% of activities, including rehearsals
- Signed Statement of Commitment Form
- Signed Tattoo & Pregnancy Form
- Complete Risk Management Training (Parent/Guardian and Participant)
- Submit a non-refundable $150.00 commitment deposit due at the time of registration
- Raise a minimum of $1,500
3. Attendance
It is imperative that participants be punctual for all activities (i.e. Monthly Program Workshops, Community Service, Rehearsals, Cultural Activities and Scheduled Events). Attendance will be taken at all events and/or program activities.
4. Conduct & Behavior
Jabberwock participants represent Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. at school and in the community. Therefore, the following is applicable regarding appropriate behavior:
- A participant expelled or suspended from school will be terminated from participation in the Cotillion presentation.
- A participant who exhibits unacceptable behavior, which can be substantiated, will be given one (1) warning. If unacceptable behavior continues, it will result in termination of the participant. This includes, but is not limited to, disruptive behavior during Jabberwock. Inappropriate and disruptive behavior is defined as, but not limited to:
- Activities
- Language
- Negative attitude and disrespect
- A participant who exhibits substance use or abuse or has possession of a weapon will be terminated immediately from participation in the Jabberwock experience. NO FEES WILL BE REFUNDED.
5. Dress Code
It is imperative all participants conform to ALL guidelines pertaining to appropriate business attire when attending workshops and activities.
