                                  • By registering for the Fun Dog Show you agree on your own behalf and to ensure that any children you are supervising:

                                    (i) abide by these terms and conditions (the ‘Terms and Conditions’) of entry. On occasion these may be subject to change, therefore please refer to this document frequently so these are fully understood;
                                    and
                                    (ii) abide by any instructions or regulations displayed or given on the day of the event by officials.

                                    Competition Entry Details and Fee

                                    1. The organisers advocate a policy of responsible pet ownership and the health and safety of all dogs taking part in the competition is their number one concern. Dogs should not be forced to take part if they are not happy doing so.
                                    2. Everyone who takes part in the Fun Dog Show must be registered. This can be done online in advance or on the day, if space is available.
                                    3. The charge for taking part in the Fun Dog Show is £1.50 per class, per dog, when booking in advance. The charge is £2 if booking on the day at the event if spaces are available.
                                    4. Children under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied in the ring by an adult in all classes other than in classes identified by the organisers being for junior handlers. In the junior handler classes all children (i) aged 6 yrs and under MUST be accompanied by an adult in the ring, and (ii) aged 7 – 16 yrs must have an adult supervising them from ringside.
                                    5. Participants may enter more than one class. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that the class times entered do not clash. Timings for the classes across the two rings are staggered to avoid clashes, but due to the nature of dog shows it is not possible to set exact start times for each class.
                                    6. If you cannot attend, please inform the organisers as soon as possible by emailing dogshowbinsted@gmail.com
                                    7. Unfortunately, given the limited number of spaces, all entry fees are non-refundable. All proceeds will be distributed to charities and good causes by the Binsted Fete Committee following the Annual General Meeting of the Fete Committee following the event.


                                    General Competition Details

                                    1. Participants who have booked online must arrive at the Fun Dog Show Registration Desk and check-in ahead of their classes, allowing sufficient time for registration before their class begins. Registration opens at 12.30pm on the day of the event.
                                    2. If a participant is late for their class, the organisers will do their best to slot the entrant into another class, however this is not guaranteed.
                                    3. Dogs should not be dressed up in costumes or any clothing that does not have a welfare benefit other than in classes where costumes or accessories expressly form part of the competition, in which case they must be breathable, lightweight and suitable for use by dogs. If weather conditions are deemed too hot, the judge and organisers reserve the right to require all outfits to be removed from dogs.
                                    4. The organisers reserve the right to remove a dog(s) from the ring if they are being aggressive towards another dog/human or are being disruptive to the competition, or showing signs of stress, anxiety, fear, illness, or injury.
                                    5. Female dogs should not be entered if on heat.
                                    6. Dogs MUST be kept on a lead at all times and all owners must clean up after their dog. All dogs that are required to be muzzled by law must remain muzzled at all times.
                                    7. Any specific information and instructions given by any stewards/officials must be adhered to and decisions of the judges are final.
                                    8. The organisers reserve the right to cancel any classes or to move a participant to another similar class.
                                    9. If the organisers or judge feel that any of these terms and conditions are not being complied with by an entrant, they reserve the right to refuse entry to a class.

                                    Disclaimer
                                    By entering the Fun Dog Show you are agreeing to take full responsibility for any injury or damage caused to and/or by your dog(s) to all other dogs, persons and property. Any injury or damage incurred is not the liability of the organisers or sponsors, including the disappearance, theft, death of a dog or otherwise. You are fully liable for your animal should they cause any damage or injury. Any dog showing aggressive behaviour at the show will be asked to leave with no refund given.
