What is the SBC’s role?
The primary objectives of a Sullivan Beauty Consultant:
1. Build sales revenue in your territory by earning new accounts and growing existing business
2. Introduce new items, sales promotions, brand offerings and education
3. Professionally represent your company and brands while fulfilling your mission
4. Consult to understand your client’s needs and use your resources to fulfill their needs
You are responsible for all salons, spas, independent suites and barber shops that fall within the bounds of your territory. *Exceptions may include chain accounts or some accounts in an overlapping territory
What are the SBC job expectations?
Sullivan Beauty Consultants are assigned a geographic territory for which they are responsible to service. While an SBC is granted the autonomy to create their own schedule, they will typically need to visit 15+ clients per day in order to properly maintain their territory. SBCs are required to do the following:
- Work full-time (40 hours per week)
- Drive to your client’s businesses you will have a designated territory with several accounts to visit
- Be present at sales meetings that are held once per month in our Hooksett, NH headquarters
- Be present at local education events that are often held on Sundays and/or Mondays
- Sell technical beauty products like hair color, treatments, hair products and promotions
- Promote and sell education that provide our clients with professional advancement
