Delaware Farm Bureau Women's Committee Scholarship Application
ELIGIBILITY
The Delaware Farm Bureau Women’s Committee will award scholarships to high school seniors or current college students for the upcoming school year. One $2,500 Ag scholarship will be given to a student who is planning on majoring in and pursuing a career in the agricultural field. A $1,000 scholarship will be given to a student in each county who is planning to continue their education with an accredited college or university.

To be eligible, applicant must:
- be a member or the child of a member and remain such while the scholarship is in force. If both parents have their own membership, applicant may only apply under one membership number.
- have an active membership for longer than one year.
- finish high school within the year they apply for the scholarship or be a current college student.
- be a full-time student.
- not be a previous scholarship winner of the Delaware Farm Bureau Women’s Committee.
RULES & REQUIREMENTS
THE FOLLOWING APPLY TO BOTH THE $2,500 AND $1,000 SCHOLARSHIPS:
- All applications must be typed.
- You must submit your most recent high school or college transcript
- You must submit two letters of recommendation with name, address and phone number Students must submit a head and shoulders portrait of themselves
- All application materials are due by 4:00 p.m. on May 2, 2025.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS
*Please note that it is the scholarship winner’s responsibility to contact the Farm Bureau State Office regarding payment of their scholarship
- Scholarship recipients will be notified by mail after the proper selection process has happened.
- Scholarship recipients will be invited to and recognized at their respective county and state banquet.
- All money will be paid directly to the college or university.
- Money will be paid after successful completion of student’s first semester.
- Money will be paid once prior semester’s completed transcript is received from the scholarship recipent's registrars office. Information must be provided to the Delaware Farm Bureau on where to send payment.
