High school is a time when we can support students in finding their purpose, knowing their value, and understanding the possibilities for their life’s path. As the world around us changes rapidly, we have an incredible opportunity to create a high school experience that better connects students with their personal goals and aspirations of enrollment, employment, or enlistment leading to service.
In March 2024, Indiana leaders proposed a vision for the future of high school that increases flexibility, personalization, and relevance, while maintaining rigorous standards for all. We continue to engage students, families, educators, colleges and universities, as well as industry and community leaders to gather feedback on the future of Indiana's diplomas and how we can best support students in achieving their unique goals and dreams.
Thank you for completing the below form to share your thoughts and suggestions on the proposed diploma requirements and how we can continue improving the high school experience for Indiana students. Comments on the first draft will close on Tuesday, July 30, to ensure all feedback is reviewed prior to the publication of the second draft. Additional information on these proposed, streamlined diplomas can be found at www.in.gov/doe/diplomas.
