Dog Class Training Registration Form

Kindergarten Puppy Training (KPT) Enrollment Fee$100.00

Kindergarten Puppy Training (KPT) 8-week training class. This class is for puppies 8 weeks to 6 months of age (DOB must be after September 24, 2025). This class covers the basics of caring for and training a puppy and the basic obedience skills of sit, down, stay, walking on leash, and coming when called. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy training will be a part of this class.

Beginners Obedience (Large or Small Dog) Enrollment Fee$125.00

Large Dog or Small Dog Beginning Obedience 8-week training class; includes training collar and leather leash. Classes divided by weight (approx 45 lbs). This class is for dogs 6 months or older (no age limit) and covers the basic obedience skills of: sit, down, sit stay, down stay, stand, stand for examination, heeling on leash, and coming when called (recall).

Intermediate Obedience Enrollment Fee$100.00

Intermediate Obedience 8-week training class: requires completion of a Beginners or Kindergarten class. This class builds on skills you learned in Beginners or KPT, including recall exercises, longer stays, closer heeling, and keeping your dog’s attention when interacting with other people and dogs. This class focuses on skills to complete the CGC test. On Graduation Night, students may take a CGC (Canine Good Citizen) or CGCA (Community Canine) test. Advanced Class - Trick Dog Class Enrollment Fee$100.00

Trick Dog Class requires completion of a Beginners or Kindergarten class. This class will provide the instruction and equipment for owners to teach their dogs AKC Novice- and Intermediate-level tricks, and the chance to perform those tricks to achieve those AKC Trick titles. Training tricks helps owners learn to train their dogs with positive reinforcement, and helps activate a dog’s mind, learn self-control, giving the dog physical exercise to make them healthier and stronger, and helps build a stronger bond between owner and dog. Advanced Class - Recall Class Enrollment Fee$100.00

Recall Class requires completion of a Beginners or Kindergarten class. The recall class is a new class this session. The goal of the class is to use a variety of games to teach your dog to reliably come when he is called. A reliable recall is a valuable tool and can even save your dog’s life! In addition to coming when called, we will also work on ignoring distractions. Your dog will learn to leave things alone, instead of grabbing things off the ground when you call him to you.

Advanced Class - Rally Enrollment Fee$100.00

Two levels of in-person Virtual Rally Titling classes will be offered: Novice (requires completion of KPT or Beginners class), and Intermediate/Advanced (requires completion of a Novice Rally beginner class). Rally requires teamwork between dog and handler and performance skills similar to obedience. These classes allow Rally dog/handler teams to learn Rally signs and practice AKC Virtual Novice or Intermediate and Advanced rally runs to submit to AKC for judging and titles. Advanced Class - Agility 1+ Enrollment Fee$100.00

Agility 8-week class: one Agility class will be offered: Agility 1+ (Introductory class - requires completion of Beginners or Kindergarten, and Intermediate class). This class will introduce basic agility skills using both verbal commands and hand signals, and equipment including Jumps, Dog Walk, A-Frame, Teeter, Tire, Pause Table, and Tunnels. For students with dogs who have completed Agility 1 class previously, there is the opportunity to enroll and do Agility practice runs in this class, but you will not receive instruction on the runs. Learning agility is a fun way for you to bond with your dog in an active environment that challenges your dog in both mental and physical skills. Advanced Class - Nosework II Enrollment Fee$100.00

Nosework 8-week class: requires completion of Beginners or Kindergarten, and Intermediate class, and a Nose Work I class. This class will advance the training in Nosework I with more difficult hides and environments to encourage your dog's natural scenting abilities by using their desire to hunt and their love of toys, food and exercise.
