Family Contract for Students in First & Second Year of Faith Formation Sacrament Preparation
I understand parents are the most important teachers of the faith to their children. Our family is registered with and attends weekly mass at St. Michael’s Catholic Parish.
Parents will meet with the Religious Education Director in August or September to create a faith formation plan for the upcoming year.
Parents pray with their child daily, ensuring that the child learns and is able to recite the Sacrament Prayers by the spring of the first year of faith formation. Any SLD will be discussed with the Religious Education Director.

Act of Contrition
Parents ensure that their child, in the second year of faith formation, understands and is able to recite his/her Act of Contrition in November.
Students will arrive on time to class and have no more than 3 absences during the school year. If there are more than 3 absences in the first or second year of sacrament preparation the formation year will be repeated.
