ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT
To enroll at Queens College of Theology, The student hereby agree to these enrollment terms and conditions:
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Students will read all assigned lessons, watch any video lesson in its entirety, and complete all assignments with care and attention.
2. Student understands that the program is tuition-free and no textbooks are required, but there are additional fees as outlined in Attachment B. There is no cost to access the learning module.
3. Only payment forms accepted are debit/credit card through our payment processor Stripe.
4. Students understand there may be credit card processing and handling fees per transaction.
5. The student will uphold their academic honor by reading and agreeing to the Academic Misconduct Policy.
6. Students will actively use the discussion boards to engage with their cohorts but will remain respectful to not use inflammatory language, abusive or disruptive content, or use the portal to contact and/or harass other students.
7. Queens College of Theology does not guarantee job placement to graduates, or career potentials upon completion of course.
8. Queens College of Theology reserves the right to expel, dismiss, or withdraw a student for violation of policies.
9. There are no refunds with the program.
10. The student is responsible for keeping their account information secure.
11. Students are responsible for keeping up with any assignments that must be turned in at the end of the program. Queens College of Theology is not responsible for any technical problems with saving, accessing or submitting course assignments.
12. Students will follow ALL formatting guidelines of essays as indicated in each lesson. If no formatting guidelines are provided, students should submit using APA formatting.
13. Students understand that this type of credential is not designed for professional licensure or certification.
14. The student understands that Queens College of Theology is not an accredited institution from an approved organization by the Department of Education, but is authorized to issue degrees due to a license exemption for religious education from the University of North Carolina Board of Governors.
15. Students understand that Queens College of Theology offers religious or theological training and awards nonacademic degrees, diplomas, and certificates with only specific theological, biblical, divinity, or other religious designations.
16. Queens College of Theology tuition-free program does not transfer credits to other institutions, nor do we accept credits from other institutions for the tuition-free programs offered.
17. Students will use proper grammar and formalities while communicating with other students and professors.
18. Students will only communicate and submit assignments in English.
19. Students are proficient in English.
20. Students understand that this program is graded as “Pass or Fail” and that all of the students' efforts in the program are taken in consideration to the final grade, with Queens College of Theology having the absolute discretion on what is considered a passing grade, or a failing grade.
21. If any dispute arises from or related to enrollment and participation in the tuition-free program, the parties agree to resolve the dispute through binding arbitration. Queens College of Theology shall have the exclusive right to select the arbitrator, and the party initiating the arbitration shall bear all associated costs, including arbitrator fees. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding. The arbitration will be conducted under the laws of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and will take place in a location designated by Queens College of Theology. All aspects of the arbitration, including hearings and decisions, shall remain confidential unless the law requires disclosure.
22. Students have read the disclosures in Attachment C and understand them.
