The Neighborhood Relations Department coordinates neighborhood cleanups and provides roll-off open-top trash containers and supplies for citizens to dispose of waste from alleys, streets, right of ways, and waterways.
A 20-yard roll-off container (4’x7’x22') will be placed in the neighborhood early Saturday morning and removed the following Monday. Gloves, bags, buckets, pickers, and safety vests can be provided upon request.
A few things to keep in mind as you plan your event:
- This request must be submitted at least 30 days in advance of the event
- Two cleanup events may be scheduled per neighborhood, per year
- The Neighborhood Association is responsible for notifying residents of the cleanup
- Hazardous waste may not be disposed of in City dumpsters. Click here for more information on hazardous waste disposal.
