Details and Expectations
Welcome to our first Midgard at the Mill: a Viking Invasion event. This event will have the most immersion experience to date for us. Huzzah! Productions is very excited to be partnering with Hagood Mill to bring this exciting event to life. It's important to us to put on the best possible experience for vendors and attendees. To do that, we are curating carefully all the experiences for the event. Please read the details below carefully and reach out to us at info@upstaterenaissancefaire.com if you have any questions.
Where: Hagood Mill Historical Site: 138 Hagood Rd Pickens, SC 29671
Setup: Starts at 8am
Cost: $200 for 10x10 space for both days
Limited vendor spots available.
Please note: This is a specific THEMED event.
1. All products MUST be Viking themed. If the photos sent in are not in the theme, the application won't be accepted.
2. Photos must be clear, uncluttered, and not have the vendor's hands/head shadowing the work.
If the photos are not high-quality, the vendor's work will not be showcased on social media or the website even if the vendor is accepted/has amazing work. We can recommend a good product photographer if you need help.
3. Vendors must decorate their tents in a Viking style (it can be your Medieval/Ren Faire if that's what you have) and have on some sort of costuming with a Viking influence.
There is no power available for any vendors because of the location. You will be responsible to have lights for your tent once it gets darker.
Vendors are expected to have someone managing their vending tent throughout the duration of the two-day event.
Camping on-site will also be an option for vendors. You can camp inside your vending tent or next to your vehicle in another field. This is a dry camping situation -- there won't be power, but some camp showers will be available on a first come, first serve basis for those camping. (It's going to feel quite authentic!) Camping is not required. You can stay elswhere and come back in the morning before the event starts up again. Camping is available for Friday and Saturday night. Sunday morning will be packing and cleaning.
4. Vendors have one month to pay their fee once accepted or their space will be opened to others. Make sure that you have info@upstaterenaissancefaire.com white listed. Note: our parent company is Huzzah! Productions and you will see an invoice come from them once you are accepted.

5. Accepted vendors will be invited to a private FB group for 2024 Midgard vendors. Most information will be provided in that group. You must answer all the questions to be accepted (even if you've vended at other events of ours).
