    Description: CGRC’s FREE Licensed Professional Learning Community (LPLC) offers a welcoming and supportive environment to collaborate with peers, gain valuable knowledge and insights, and cultivate relationships with like-minded clinicians who understand the unique challenges of your profession.The group with be facilitated by Dr. Andy Kind-Rubin, a licensed psychologist who brings decades of experience as a clinician, supervisor, administrator and educator.

    Purpose of the Group

    The purpose of Licensed Professional Learning Community is to provide a collaborative space for licensed mental health professionals to share clinical cases, discuss professional issues, and receive feedback from peers. This group aims to enhance professional development and provide mutual support among colleagues.

    Role of the Group Facilitator

    The group will be facilitated by Andy Kind-Rubin, PhD, who will help to monitor and address the needs of the group. The facilitator’s role is to guide discussions, ensure a respectful and constructive environment, and provide general support to the group.

    Nature of the Group

    • Peer Support: This group is intended for peer support and professional development. It is not formal supervision and should not be considered a replacement for formal supervision.
    • Voluntary Participation: Participation in this group is voluntary, and members are free to share their experiences and cases at their discretion.
    • Confidentiality: While confidentiality cannot be absolutely guaranteed, all participants are expected to respect the confidentiality of shared information, not share personal identifying information about clients, colleagues and supervisees when discussing clinical cases and issues within the group, and not disclose details outside of the group.

    Responsibilities and Agreements

    Participant Responsibilities:

    • Attend and actively participate in group sessions.
    • Respect the confidentiality of other group members.
    • Acknowledge that participation in this group does not constitute formal clinical supervision.

    Facilitator Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate discussions and monitor the group's needs.
    • Provide a safe and respectful environment for sharing.

    Limitations and Liability

    Non-Liability:

    • The facilitator and group participants are not responsible for the treatment decisions made by any participant based on group discussions.
    • Neither the facilitator nor any participant can be held liable for the outcomes of any treatment decisions influenced by group discussions.

    Non-Formal Supervision:

    • This group does not fulfill any requirements for formal clinical supervision.
    • Participation in this group should not be documented as part of any licensure supervision requirements.
