  • Our CART providers bring the spoken word to life with unparalleled accuracy, using state-of-the-art realtime translation systems. Whether for in-person settings or remote solutions, we deliver CART services that integrate smoothly with your event's flow, ensuring inclusivity and engagement for all participants.

    * Holiday Rates: All requests made on holidays will be billed $262.50/hr with the applicable one-hour (remote) or two-hour (onsite) minimum. These rates apply to New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving + Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and apply to both Remote and Onsite requests.

    * Note: Rates listed here reflect general service pricing. Actual rates may vary based on assignment requirements, provider qualifications, or contract terms.

    Minimums

    In accordance with industry standards, our CART services include a minimum charge for every request:

    • Remote CART: One-hour minimum per request
    • Onsite CART: Two-hour minimum (one hour of CART services plus a one-hour admin/travel fee)

    Each assignment is billed for at least the applicable minimum, and all services beyond the scheduled time are billed in 15-minute increments. Early dismissal of the CART provider will be billed at the full scheduled time or the applicable minimum, whichever is greater.

    Admin/Travel Time (Onsite CART)

    Admin/travel time is determined by the location of the assignment from Austin/Travis County:

    Requesting & Canceling CART

    Requesting CART

    Please submit all requests using the 3 Bridges online CART request form. Once we receive the request, it will be processed, and a confirmation email will be sent, verifying your request and confirming the details. The confirmation email includes a cancellation link. Please use this link if you need to make any changes to your request.

    Cancellations

    Cancellations must be made online by clicking the "Cancel Services" button on our website or in your email confirmation. An email confirmation will be sent shortly afterwards. Cancellations cannot be made by phone or email.

    Any assignment canceled or changed with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged for the entire block of time requested per CART provider, or the applicable one-hour (remote) or two-hour (onsite) minimum, whichever is greater in the length of time.

    Service Policies

    Client No Show

    If the client or any person(s) related to the assignment fails to appear, the applicable minimum (one hour remote, two hours onsite) or the full scheduled time, whichever is greater, will apply and the client will be billed accordingly.

    Team CART Providers

    Some CART requests require a second or third provider working as a team, depending on the nature and length of the assignment. Example scenarios include legal matters, meetings, trainings, workshops, classroom settings, and prolonged assignments. The determination will be made at the time of booking.

    Technical Requirements

    For remote CART, participants need a stable internet connection and a device with a screen to view the captions, and the CART provider must be able to hear the audio clearly, which may require a quality microphone or a direct audio feed. Text display settings such as font size, color, and contrast can be adjusted to individual preferences. We recommend testing the connection and audio before the scheduled start time.

    Transcripts

    A written transcript can be provided after a CART session upon request. The raw CART output is cleaned up and formatted into a written record of the event. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like a transcript, as additional fees may apply for transcript preparation and delivery.

    Same Day Requests

    A $50 same day fee applies to all urgent and same day requests and is billed in addition to the applicable CART rate. We encourage clients to schedule in advance whenever possible, as we cannot always guarantee services on short notice.

    Billing

    Invoice

    You will receive an emailed invoice shortly after completion of the assignment. Invoices are sent to the billing contact listed on your billing information.

    Payment Methods

    Our preferred payment method is ACH bank transfer. We also accept mailed checks and credit card payments. A 3% processing fee applies to all credit card payments.

    Late Fees

    Payment is due upon receipt. Invoices not paid within 15 days are considered past due. Balances unpaid after 30 days are subject to a late fee of $50 or 10% of the outstanding balance (whichever is greater) every 30 days.

    Certifications & Standards

    Our CART providers are vetted and certified by leading professional bodies to ensure the highest service quality. In Texas, certification is managed by the Texas Court Reporters Association. Nationally, the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA) provides certification and enforces a Code of Professional Ethics for all practicing CART providers.

    Acknowledgment and Authorization

    By signing below, I confirm that I have reviewed and accept the rates and policies outlined above. I represent and warrant that I am authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of the organization listed. I understand and agree that:

    1. This agreement applies to all CART and related services requested by or on behalf of this organization, including future requests, until replaced by a new written agreement.
    2. The organization remains financially responsible for all confirmed services scheduled under these terms.
    3. It is the organization's duty to notify 3 Bridges Sign Language Services of any changes to billing contacts, administrative staff, or payment procedures.
    4. Any failure to provide updated contact information does not release the organization from responsibility for invoices issued under this agreement.
