TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ALL COMPETITORS COMPETE AT THEIR OWN RISK
BIO-SECURITY – Biosecurity Horse Health Declaration form to be completed. Good bio-security measures should always be practised and all horses, equipment and vehicles should leave your property in a clean state. Kerribee Park PIC number: QKME0710
- Competitors may ride a maximum of two horses in each event, but each horse may have only one rider
- Led horses will not be placed above independent riders in any age group
- All events will be under the control of a starter and the judge’s decision will be final
- No stallions permitted
- Events to be run in an order at the discretion of the Committee
- Prizemoney paid to third place. Sashes to third place in every group excluding Led Group
- Sash for Aggregate Points Winner for each age group (one horse only) excluding Led Group
- Horses entered in the Open Feature Barrel Race must also compete in a minimum of 5 events during the day’s Program
The Committee reserves the right:
- To refuse any nomination for any event without giving a reason
- To change the program without notice.
CAMPING – Some powered sites are available for the usual price of camping at The Kerribee Park Campground - please pay at reception on arrival. Electric fences are only permitted in the competitor camping area. Maximum area per. horse of 4m x 4m.
WALK HORSES – All horses must be walked when outside the performance area and warm-up area. This includes walking around, to and from the camping area.
SKULL CAPS – All children (under 18 years) must wear a skull cap (Australian Standards Approved) anytime whilst mounted anywhere in the Kerribee Park grounds. The chin-strap must be securely fastened. This includes babies and toddlers; they must have a helmet on if they sit on a horse.
PARENTAL CONSENT – Nominations in Junior Events must be accompanied by Parent’s or Guardian’s consent to compete at your own risk.
DOGS – are permitted, however they must be on a chain or lead and under the strict control of the owner at all times or they will not be allowed at Kerribee Park. Dogs must not be let off the chain or lead at any time during an event nor should they be taken into the amenitites block. It is preferred that dogs not be brought to Kerribee Park.
HOSE-DOWN AREA – Floats, trailers and trucks are to be hosed out only in the designated hose-down area.
LIVESTOCK AREA – All stock is to stay inside the Livestock Area and any horse manure is to be cleaned up by owners
U18s are not permitted to consume alcohol anywhere on the Kerribee Park grounds, whether with a parent or not. Heavy fines can be imposed on any underage drinkers.
Any BYO alcohol must be left in your vehicle or at your campsite. You can not walk around the public areas with alcohol (i.e. anywhere outside your campsite).
GLASS – Please do not bring any glass bottles onto Kerribee Park.
RUBBISH – Please ensure your campsite is clean and put all rubbish in the bins on your way out.
