Course registration is now open for the 2025/2026 school year!

There are 2 different formats of courses available: Blended Learning, which alternates in person and online, synchronous sessions, and Guided Self-Directed Learning, which allows students to set their own pace while receiving full support from a dedicated instructor.

The maximum number of students per course is 12 students.

JTeach Academy is supported by Jewish Learning Fund (JLF) - charitable registration #807171194RR0001. In order to allow us continue to provide quality courses and programming, registrants make a donation to JLF in lieu of course payment. All donations to JLF will receive a tax receipt for the maximum allowable amount. Please note: in compliance with Canadian law, charitable donations are non-refundable.

Course prerequisites:

LYHBD - Grade 10 Hebrew (Level 1) - Prerequisite: None*

* Must speak with school admin before enrolling.

LYHCU - Grade 11 (Level 2) Hebrew - Prerequisite: Level 1 Hebrew*

* Must speak with school admin before enrolling.

ENG3U - Grade 11 English - Prerequisite: ENG2D

LYHDU - Grade 11 (Level 3) Hebrew - Prerequisite: Level 2 Hebrew*

* Must speak with school admin before enrolling.

GPP3O - Grade 11 Leadership & Peer Support - Prerequisite: NONE

ENG4U - Grade 12 English - Prerequiste: NBE3U or ENG3U

PLF4M - Grade 12 Recreation and Healthy Active Living Leadership - Prerequisite: Any health and physical education course

Course Format - *

Blended Learning Format - alternating in person and online sessions throughout the school year. Sessions are once per week for 2.5 hours per session. Sessions held in Vaughan, ON.Guided Self-Directed Learning - students progress through course modules online with support from a dedicated teacher. Students have control over their learning schedules within certain set parameters for time spent on lessons and overall target dates. Course can be completed in one semester or one school year.
